Specifications
The Wireless Link offers dial-up modem users a new level
of freedom. No longer must a PC be located near a wall
with a 'phone jack. And no longer must a 'phone cord
of limited length connect the PC to the jack. Now your
PC has the same flexibility as your cordless 'phone!
The Wireless Link is easy to use. Simply plug the base
station unit into a 'phone jack, just like a cordless
'phone, then connect the slender remote unit to the modem
port and a USB jack on your PC. Connect the supplied
power cube to the base station and an electrical outlet.
That's all there is to it! The Wireless Link replaces
the phone cord with modern wireless technology. There
is nothing to configure, no complicated LAN to set up,
no wireless network to trouble shoot, no wireless network "packet
sniffing" to worry about. Your PC modem works as it always
has, using the same software that you've always used,
with no changes in settings. Connection to your ISP,
your office or other dialup services works the same way,
too.
At the Wireless Link's heart is new, patented technology
from Nebo Wireless. For the first time, the 900MHz cordless
'phone spectrum can be used to connect a PC modem with
the same connection quality as a 'phone wire. Range is
similar to a 900MHz cordless 'phone's.
