Link for Credit Card Terminals
1. Connect the Nebo Remote Unit to the
remote power adapter and to the telephone jack on your credit card
terminal/vending machine/ATM/slot machine.
2. Connect the Nebo Base Unit to your analog
phone line* using the LINE jack. Plug in the base power adapter provided.
(Optional) Connect your telephone to Nebo using the TEL jack.
An
analog line is used with most fax machines, credit card terminals and modems. A
digital line may damage the Nebo system. When in doubt, ask the person
responsible for your phone service.
3. Setup is now complete. No download
is needed. Simply start to use credit card terminal as usual. The Wireless Link
should work.
Troubleshooting
In
case it doesn't work immediately, check the following in order to resolve the
problem:
- Does the credit card terminal
work correctly when it has a direct wire connection to the phone jack?
Verify that the modem, credit card terminal (ATM machine or slot machine),
and all software are working.
- Is the phone line already in
use by another device? Make sure a phone or modem isn't already
occupying the line.
- Does your phone jack provide
access to 2 separate lines? Try sliding the line selection switch on the
base unit to the other selection.
- Are the connections to your
credit card terminal correct? The modem port in the credit card terminal
(ATM machine or slot machine) is usually marked with a phone symbol or
labeled "line". Make sure that the power adapter cable is
plugged into the power adapter.
- Do you hear a dial tone or
dialing beeps as you would with a direct wire connection to the phone
jack? If not, either the connections to the Wireless Link are not
correct or the Wireless Link is defective.
- What is the connect speed? The
performance with the Wireless Link may be exactly the same as your
direct wired connection.

Wireless warrants that this product is free from defects in materials or
workmanship for one year after shipment. If such a defect is discovered
within this warranty's limitations, Nebo Wireless agrees, at its sole
discretion, to repair or replace with the same item or one of equal value,
free of charge to the original consumer purchaser.
Neither warranty shall apply if the product is modified, misused, tampered
with, subjected to abnormal working conditions, or transferred to someone
other than the original consumer purchaser.
This device complies with Part 15, class B and Part 68 of the
FCC rules.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions.
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference and
(2) This device must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.
